January 2009: Louisa Morrey was working as General Manager (from 2003) and Sarah Blake as Operations Manager, for UNIGLOBE Prestige Travel. Having worked together for two years, since Sarah's arrival in 2007,  Louisa and Sarah had already established an excellent working relationship.

The previous owner decided that he would like to relocate to South Africa and therefore wanted to sell the business, naturally he approached Louisa, as his General Manager, to potentially buy him out. From there the seeds of the partnership started to take hold. It was clear that by combining the individual strengths and expertise of both Louisa and Sarah from the Mangagement and the Operations side, they could take the business forward and develop it into the success it is today.


Both Louisa and Sarah decided that we wanted to set up our own company and only buy the goodwill of the business. This meant  they would apply for their own IATA licence and sign their own franchise agreement with UNIGLOBE.

The limited company name L&S Travel Solutions was formed and UNIGLOBE Prestige Business Travel started August 2009.

They had a seamless transition from employees to owners, and were able to maintain strong client relationships, as they had pretty much been running the last two years. They can proudly say that they didn’t lose one client due to the change in ownership.


Their next venture was to apply for their own ATOL licence, as a business travel management company it is not a legal requirement, but they appreciated that having their own licence would give them access to even more discounted fares, and they could pass the benfits on to their clients.

During the next 4 years they become unbonded with IATA and ATOL, further proof to their business clients that they are a financially sound business.

Not willing to rest on their laurels or become complacent, they then set their next milestone to obtain their own ABTA licence:
